Each of Anita Genc paintings holds a quiet exchange between what she sees, what she feels, and what she remember, inviting the viewer to meet themselves along the way.



In her artistic practice, Ani moves away from the expected academic norms of developing a single, recognizable visual signature. Instead, she creates primarily guided by intuitive and emotional responses that arise directly from various external influences as well as her personal experiences.



A constant source of inspiration and the foundational starting point of Anita Genc artwork are nature, childhood memories, and the cultural heritage of her native region.



Nature holds multiple meanings for me. On one hand, it offers an endless source of shapes and textures that I materialize on the canvas; on the other, it evokes primal emotions and memories of carefree childhood days.
